From January 2013 the German Historical Institute London in cooperation with the King's India Institute, King's College London, and the Centre for Modern Indian Studies (CEMIS), University of Göttingen, establishes a research group at New Delhi. The researchers will focus on social and educational policy in India since the nineteenth century. The five-year project is funded by the Foundation Deutsche Geisteswissenschaftliche Institute im Ausland (DGIA).
