Prof Dr Benedikt Stuchtey
Benedikt Stuchtey is Deputy Director of the Institute and Associate Professor at the University of Konstanz. He joined the GHIL in 1995 after studying in Münster, Freiburg and Trinity College Dublin. His main research interests are the history of ideas, the history of European imperialism, and the history of child adoption. His new study on the history of European colonial expansion and its critics from the 18th to the 20th centuries has been published in spring 2010.
