Dr Tobias Becker

Tobias Becker joined the GHIL in 2014. He is working on the history of nostalgia since the 1960s in Britain, the United States and West Germany. Currently, he is also writing a book on a history of popular culture in Europe since the eighteenth century. As an external lecturer he teaches German history at University College London. He holds a Ph.D. from Freie Universität Berlin and an M.A. from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich.
